SNC Bringing Television Offering to Service Line Up

Southeast Nebraska Communications (SNC) announced today that it is in the beginning phases to offer television service. SNC is partnering with Skitter TV to provide the new service through the Fiber To The Home (FTTH) network. Work on the TV service is ongoing but SNC ensures transparency with the public as it progresses.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Skitter TV to bring television service to the area and that our Fiber To The Home project is allowing us to do this,” said Dorothy Towle, president and owner of SNC. “We wanted to make the announcement at this time to keep the community informed and let our customers know that we are listening to their suggestions and input. Community involvement is important to SNC and this is just another way for us to stay close with our customers.”

Ray Joy, vice president and general manager of SNC noted that providing TV service is no easy task but SNC is taking it on in full force. “As you can imagine, a project of this magnitude takes planning and a lot of behind the scenes work. We’ve been working very hard for several months but more work still needs to be done. Our satellites will soon be installed across the street north of our office. We want everyone to know what we were up to so we’ll keep you updated as the project develops.”

SNC will continue to keep the community updated on their progress towards offering television by posting details on their website at or like them on Facebook at
