2nd Annual Empty Bowls Luncheons

The 2nd Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 6th. There were a wide variety of soups provided and the event was a tremendous success. Kim Bradley from Careage Estates had the most votes with her Chicken Noodle Soup. The luncheon raised over $2,000 for the Falls City Backpack Program. The Falls City Backpack Program provides 38 backpacks to students from North and South School in Falls City for 34 weeks during the school year. Each backpack costs $200.00 for the school year. This program helps ensure their families have something to eat over the weekend.
