SNC does have a Customer Service Representative (CSR) position available as of January 22nd 2020.

General Summary: 

Compiles and maintains subscriber billing records to include final updates from service order activity, calculating and posting adjustments and other charges and credits, adjusting final accounts including bad debt write-offs and salvage, updating directory information, handling customer security deposits, preparing reports and other miscellaneous customer billing activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensures billing information is current by updating subscriber billing records to reflect most recent account activity including service order information, miscellaneous charges and credits, bad-debt write-offs, etc.
  • Assists with directory compilation by updating directory information as appropriate.
  • Performs a variety of customer billing activities including processing of customer security deposits and preparation of various billing reports.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of computer-based records maintenance.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, various accounting software programs, copier, fax and telephone systems.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to locate and correct discrepancies in data.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus one to two years of related work experience.
