Step 1: Add a New Account
Under the "File" menu in Outlook, click the "Info" menu. Next click the "Add Account" Icon.
Step 2: Select Manual Configuration
In the window that appears, select the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" option and click "Next."
Step 3: Select Service
Choose the "POP or IMAP" option, then click "Next."
Under the "User Information" header, use the text forms that appear to configure account information to your preference. In the "Your Name" box, enter your name as you would like it to appear in future e-mails. In the "E-mail address" box, simply enter your email address.
Step 5: Enter Server Information
Under the next header, choose "POP3" in the "Account Type" drop-down menu. The "Incoming mail server" box should contain the hostname "mail.sentco.net."
Step 6: Enter Logon Information
Under the next header, enter your username and password in the respective fields. User Name should be your username with the domain included. For example, "email@example.com."
Step 7: Set Up SMTP for Authentication
Click "More Settings..." in the lower right hand corner and select the "Outgoing Server" tab. Next, check the box for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication," then click the button for "Log on using." Use the same credentials mentioned in the previous step to fill in the two text fields below.
Step 8: Finish and Test Settings
Check the box for "Test Account Settings" by clicking the "Next" button , and then click "Next" again. Ensure that all tests complete successfully and click "Close," then "Finish." Microsoft Outlook 2013 will now be ready to send and receive e-mail from your Sentco account!
