April 20

Sacred Heart Kindergarten Round-up on Friday, April 20th 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (1 hour time slots).  Located in the Kindergarten Class Room (Must be 5 years of age by July 31, 201).  Please call Cathy O'Grady at the School office to set up an appointment.  402-245-4151.  Sacred Heart is a family educating  heart, mind, body and spirit for the life and next.  Please join us ! Falls City Bi-Annual Community Clean-up.  Located at Hamilton Recycling & Disposal - 6th & Stone St.  Friday 5 pm - 7 pm, Saturday 9 am - 12 pm. 

April 22

Earth Day 2018 - Sunday, April 22nd - 1pm - 3pm at Itha Krumme Arboretum and Stanton Lake Cabin.  12 pm - Fun Run - CMC,  Live Music by Sam Guise, Jeff & Mary Barker - bring your lawn chair or blanket, Ice Cream Social - Southeast Nebraska Communications, Paper making - 4-H UNL Extension office, Make a bird feeder, Bee informed - Wendall Gandstrom, Pet rock station - you bring the rock, Self Defense Presentation - Clifford Lowe, Recycled Words Art Project - FC Libary & Arts Center, Planting Station - True Value Seeds/Girl Scouts Troop 20566, Greenery by:  Grimm's Gardens & Milam's Outdoor Decor.  Check out our vendors:  Kindred Bee Soaps, Jordening Apiaries, Bugeater Foods.

May 3

Everyone is invited to the Community Medical Center Annual Community Meeting on Thursday, May 3rd at 5:00 pm.  This will be held at the Max Rathman Conference Room.

May 3, 4, 5 & 6

Free Iowa Tribe Flee Market - located at the Iowa Tribal complex, west side of the Casino White Cloud on May 3, 4, 5 & 6th.  Vendors welcomed - BBQ smokers allowed, 100+ spaces available.  Call us for more information.  Boys & Girls Club of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska.  Contact Paul Mendez 785-741-5454.

Summer Food Service Program - Everyone Welcome

Monday - Friday in June & July.  Starting Friday, June 1 - ending Tuesday, July 31st.  Meals served at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church - 20th & Towle Street.  Doors open at 11:45 am.  Lunch served 12 noon to 12:45 pm.  Open to ALL KIDS - 18 years & under 3 and younger must be able to eat regular children's food and be under the supervision of their caregiver.  No registration required.  Adult meals - $3.50.  For more info or to volunteer contact Kris @ 402-245-3675 or the Church Office at 402-245-3828.

Richardson County Museum

Richardson County Museum - 1401 Chase St.  Falls City.  Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Tours can be scheduled by appointment. New artifacts received from a distance as well as local treasures.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Free - weekly on Wednesdays - 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Community Medical Center.  For more information please contact Sara Rue RN, CBE at 402-245-6571

Humboldt Community Thrift Store

Humboldt Community Thrift Store is located at 701 4th St in Humboldt.  Open:  Monday 4 - 7 pm,. Friday, 9- 3 pm, Saturday 9 - noon.  Sponsored by the Humboldt Lions Club.  For more information call 402-862-2330.

Family Night at the Library

Inviting families to join us on Thursday evenings for some old-fashioned fun.  Activity stations for stories, games, projects, adventure and some surprises.  .

Clothing Closet

First and third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the First Brethren Church, 1902 Lane St. Clothing only, no misc items. Everything is free to anyone who comes in. Donations will be taken on Tuesdays as well.
