June 23

Falls City Fly-In Breakfast - from 8am to 11am at Brenner Field - 3301 Business Parkway.  Enjoy breakfast while watching a variety of aircraft fly in and out of the airport.  Breakfast will be free to the pilot in command and free-will donation to the rest of the public.  All proceeds will go to the Falls City Jaycees Youth program.  For questions call 402-245-3715.

Sixpence Presents The String Beans at the Lemonade Days on Saturday, June 23rd at 11am - South Side of the Courthouse.  Free Hot Dogs after by SENCA, lemonade, sidewalk sales, face painting and Balloon Animals.

June 30

Fish Fry & Auction - 5th Annual Fundraiser for mowing/upkeep of the Harris Cemetery at the Barada Schoolhouse, Saturday, June 30th - serving from 5:00 - 9:00.  Freewill offering.  Auction starts at 7:00 pm.

July 7

Falls City Area Jaycees 28th Annual Truck & Tractor Pull - Sanctioned by NK Pullers - registration starts at 5;00 pm.  Saturday, July 7th - starting at 7:00 pm.  Located at the Falls City Jaycees Community Field - 2 miles south of Town.  Beer Garden on Grounds, Concession Stand on grounds by Jaycees.  Admission - 10 years & older - $10, Children 5 - 9 years - $5.00, 4 years & under - FREE.  For more information contact - Ron Alverson 785-256-1029, Tim Bailey 660-491-3822.

August 31 - September 2

White Cloud Flee Market on Friday, August 31st to Sunday, September 2nd.  Free admission, free parking.  See the 4 State lookout  - visit Mo Hush Ka Historical Society Museum.  Contact Charles Messner Flea Market Manager with questions at 402-245-5367.

Aquatic Park Shuttle

Shuttle Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday each week.  Tuesday, May 29th - Friday, August 12th.  Pick up points, beginning at 12:45 pm.  1st Stop - Pioneer Park (east side), 2nd Stop - Grandview Park (west side), 3rd Stop - Sacred Heart School (south side), 4th Stop - Legion Park (northwest corner), 5th Stop - Watertower park.  Returning from Aquatic Park to the five pick-up points - beginning at 4:00 pm. 

Summer Food Service Program - Everyone Welcome

Monday - Friday in June & July.  Starting Friday, June 1 - ending Tuesday, July 31st.  Meals served at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church - 20th & Towle Street.  Doors open at 11:45 am.  Lunch served 12 noon to 12:45 pm.  Open to ALL KIDS - 18 years & under 3 and younger must be able to eat regular children's food and be under the supervision of their caregiver.  No registration required.  Adult meals - $3.50.  For more info or to volunteer contact Kris @ 402-245-3675 or the Church Office at 402-245-3828.

Richardson County Museum

Richardson County Museum - 1401 Chase St.  Falls City.  Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Tours can be scheduled by appointment. New artifacts received from a distance as well as local treasures.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Free - weekly on Wednesdays - 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Community Medical Center.  For more information please contact Sara Rue RN, CBE at 402-245-6571

Humboldt Community Thrift Store

Humboldt Community Thrift Store is located at 701 4th St in Humboldt.  Open:  Monday 4 - 7 pm,. Friday, 9- 3 pm, Saturday 9 - noon.  Sponsored by the Humboldt Lions Club.  For more information call 402-862-2330.

Family Night at the Library

Inviting families to join us on Thursday evenings for some old-fashioned fun.  Activity stations for stories, games, projects, adventure and some surprises.  .

Clothing Closet

First and third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the First Brethren Church, 1902 Lane St. Clothing only, no misc items. Everything is free to anyone who comes in. Donations will be taken on Tuesdays as well.
